Body found in Northampton, UK being investigated in connection with a Nigerian man missing since 2013


Detectives are investigating a possible link between a body found on Tuesday, January 26, in bushes in Billing Brook Road link to a man who disappeared after an apparent altercation in Sept. 2013.
According to Sky News, detectives are looking into the disappearance of a Nigerian man Adeyemi Olugbuyi, in 2013 but have not yet identified the remains.
 

Thirty-two-year-old Olugbuyi went missing after reportedly having an altercation in the Thorplands area of Northampton. Police said he was also known as 'Baz' or 'Big Man' and has not contacted friends or family since 13 September 2013.
Northampton Chronicle reports that police don't believe there have been any shooting incident in connection with the discovered body after rumours began circulating that there had bee a shooting in the area.  A small section of the road was closed and a large tent has been constructed over the scene while officers carry out investigations to establish the circumstances as to how the body came to be there.
Northamptonshire Police has now confirmed that they don’t believe to be any truth in the rumours. The force said via Twitter:
"We can confirm that we do not believe there to have been any shooting incident in connection with Billing Brook Road body discovery"
A police spokesman said the body had yet to be identified and the cause of death was currently being treated as ‘unexplained’.
