A report by the International Journal
of Surgery Case Reports has revealed how a man got himself into deep
trouble as the s*x toy he was using for sexual gratification stuck in
his anus.
A pensioner had to have surgery after getting a huge dildo stuck
inside himself. The 68-year-old arrived at A&E after spending 10
hours trying to remove the 23cm sex toy, The SunUk reports.
Doctors at the Mater Hosptial in Dublin failed to remove it, so
gave the man a general anaesthetic so they could successfully extract
the dildo using forceps. The incident took place in December 2014 but
has only just come to light as reported in the International Journal of
Surgery Case Reports.
The report said: “A 68-year-old man presented to the emergency
department with severe lower abdominal discomfort, distension and
inability to pass urine, flatus or bowel motions.
“He had inserted a phallic object in the rectum ten hours prior to presentation and had been unable to remove same.
“Following a manual attempt at removal in the emergency department,
a decision was made to remove this under anaesthesia due to worsening
symptoms
“The phallic object was successfully removed under general anaesthesia using a pair of Magill’s forceps.”
The report went on to say the removal of sex toys inserted into people varies from each case.
It added: “The removal of phallic objects requires ingenuity.”
The report said people had previously used bottles, light bulbs,
apples, rubber balls, spray containers, vibrators, and other phallic
objects such as s*x toys.
