Andy Murray pauses mid-match against Rafael Nadal to give himself a haircut...
Speaking to reporters after the match, he said "I don’t know why such minor things make such a big deal with you guys. I had some hair in my eye and I just wanted to get rid of it. That literally took two seconds. That was it. It was nothing to do with next week or anything to do with the outcome of this match."

Cristiano Ronaldo says he has women in his life who know about each other

Ronaldo, who split from long-term girlfriend Irina Shayk almost a year ago hasn't had a girlfriend, just females that take care of his needs. When asked by Ross whether there was "someone special" in his life, Ronaldo replied: “A few."

Ronaldo is now rumoured to be dating Italian model and actress Alessia Tedeschi but the 30-year-old Portugal captain also claimed that while he had little problem meeting members of the opposite sex, finding people he wants to start a relationship with is really difficult.
“Well, it’s not easy. Seriously speaking, it’s not easy. I know 50 per cent they approach just for interest, it’s normal, not just me but all the people who are famous they have these kind of problems. "But in another way, I think I’m a confident guy, I’m tall, I have my own teeth, I have a nice body so I think the other 50 per cent it’s because I have great qualities too.” He added.

Prince Ali Al Hussein, Jérôme Champagne and three others make FIFA Presidential candidates list

Musa Hassan Bility has been disqualified from contesting and surprisingly no African makes the list. Read FIFA's official press release after the cut...
"On
9 November 2015, the AD-hoc Electoral Committee declared five
candidates eligible to stand for election to the office of FIFA
President."
" The election will take place at the Extraordinary FIFA Congress in Zurich on 26 February 2016.
The candidates admitted and declared are:
• HRH Prince Ali Al Hussein
• Sheikh Salman Bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa
• Jérôme Champagne
• Gianni Infantino
• Tokyo Sexwale
"Pursuant to FIFA's Electoral Regulations and the FIFA Organisation Regulations, the investigatory chamber of the Ethics Committee conducted integrity checks on the candidates."This two-step process involved first creating detailed reports of risk-relevant information relating to each candidate." The integrity check included a review of corporate records, litigation cases, bankruptcy proceedings, potential regulatory actions taken against the candidate and a review of media reports concerning potential red flags (fraudulent behaviour, match manipulation, human rights violations, etc.). Each candidate was then asked to comment on the content of the detailed report produced. "
"The final integrity check reports and the comments submitted by the candidates were provided to the members of the Ad-hoc Electoral Committee and evaluated to determine whether each of the candidates fulfilled the requirements for the presidency as outlined in the FIFÀ Statutes and Regulations. "
"The Ad-hoc Electoral Committee did not admit the candidature of Musa Hassan Bility, in view of the content of the integrity check report relating to him. For reasons of protection of personality rights, the Ad-hoc Electoral Committee – while it has explained its considerations in detail to Musa Hassan Bility – will not comment publicly on the specifics of its decision."
"The
decisions of the Ad-hoc Electoral Committee on the eligibility of
candidates may be appealed at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS)
in Lausanne. "• HRH Prince Ali Al Hussein
• Sheikh Salman Bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa
• Jérôme Champagne
• Gianni Infantino

Porn website Pornhub lists Cristiano Ronaldo as its most searched footballer
Porn website Pornhub yesterday revealed the list of footballers that
rank high on searches made by its site visitors.
Cristiano Ronaldo might be surprised some porn addicts search him up
online according to the porn website.
Despite none of the footballers involved having ‘personal’ content
hosted by the website, Ronaldo triumphs over David Beckham for the
'crazy' title. Messi is third. Neymar & Robert Lewandowski makeup
the top 5. Rather surprising, Wayne Rooney made the cut.

Chelsea loses again!
And Austrian forward Arnautovic made Chelsea pay nine
minutes into the second half when he volleyed expertly past Asmir
Begovic on his return to the Britannia Stadium.
The victory was, of course, not without its controversial
moment; Loic Remy found himself clipped by Jack Butland as he rounded
the Stoke goalkeeper five minutes from time. Instead of going to ground,
the Frenchman opted to stay on his feet and, off balance, tried to
score, to no avail. Referee Anthony Taylor, in initially allowing play
to continue, decided against awarding Chelsea a penalty.
An international break looms, the traditional sacking
window for Premier League owners, and Jose Mourinho will have to wait to
see whether Roman Abramovich considers him fit to continue when we
resume.
On Saturday
he wasn’t there of course, banned for his rant at referee Jon Moss two
weeks ago but his presence was everywhere, from the Mourinho masks to
the loud support from the Chelsea travelling fans.

Footballer Frank Ribery to sue CNN for $1.5m over image rights infringement with cryotherapy photo
France and Bayern Munich midfielder Franck Ribery is
seeking $1.5 million in damages from US cable news channel CNN for using
his image in a story about the death of a woman in a cryotherapy
chamber, his lawyer said on Friday.
CNN ran a story last month, exactly on October 28 about the
death of Chelsea Ake-Salvacion, a 24-year-old American woman who was
found dead in a cryotherapy tank in a Nevada spa.
CNN used a photo showing Franck Ribery's head while the
footballer used a similar machine, which many high-level sportsmen often
do. An error on the cable network's part, as they immediately
took down the picture and post but that was not enough to stop people
from noticing.
"It results from this publication that the photograph of
Mr. Franck Ribery has been associated to a woman's death related to the
cryotherapy treatment," Ribery's lawyer Carlo Alberto Brusa said.
"Mr. Franck Ribery, a world-famous professional soccer
player and former member of the France national soccer team, has never
given his permission and consent to the use of this photograph -- and
therefore of his image -- related to the aforesaid publication."
Brusa said the use of the photo was an "illegal
association, which constitutes an infringement of the personality rights
and the French image right, is a wrongdoing for which you are
responsible and which obliges you to repair all the damages suffered by
Mr. Franck Ribery and his family following this morbid publication and
the public reactions provoked".

The night before she was on a date with who appeared to be Reddit founder Alexis Ohanian (Sorry, Drake), when a cell phone thief struck and grabbed her device off of the table. So the tennis star chased him down, out of the restaurant, and got him to return her phone. Or so she said in a Facebook post which a lot of folks were skeptical of:

It turns out she was more or less telling the truth — save same stylistic exaggerations — as video of the theft and Williams’s reaction has been released.
Bottom line, if you are going to steal a phone from a girl, you should find one smaller than Serena Williams.
"i'm tired of all the Messi comparisons"- Ronaldo.

Real Madrid's Cristiano Ronaldo is tired of comparisons
with Barcelona rival Lionel Messi and understands why some people must
dislike his personality or the ways he sees football. Speaking ahead of the release of his personal film
"Ronaldo", the FIFA World Player of the Year told Reuters TV that he is
"not a fake person."
"I have my style, he has his style, his own style," he said of Messi, his greatest rival. "We have to respect that people compare all the time. And it is normal, we are compared since we are babies, I don´t mean me and Messi but all the persons in school. Who is more clever, who is more fast, it´s normal, it´s part of the life.
"It does not surprise me any more but some times it makes
me tired because it´s always same thing and they still repeat and
repeat, one year, another year, every year."
Critics say the Portugal forward's celebrations sometimes have an air of
arrogance or egoism about them. Added to the fact that Ronaldo is never
shy to show his
muscles or make defiant gestures after scoring. He startled the audience
at this year's World Player of the Year award by bellowing "Sim" (yes)
into the microphone after he was announced as the Balloon d'or 2014
winner.
Asked why people may dislike him, Ronaldo said:
"Maybe the way I am, my personality, the way I see football. I´m not a fake person. It´s normal, it´s part of the business. No one can control that,"
Ronaldo's film, due to be released on Nov 9, depicts the striker as a family man and shows how he lives on and off the pitch.
In a separate interview with the BBC, Ronaldo described himself as "unbelievable on the pitch."
"I don't need to say 'I'm in the history of football, I'm a legend'. The numbers say everything," he said.
"I have to say to be in my shoes is not easy. But I'm not complaining. I just want to say that. I feel happy. All this happens because of a reason. The reason is I'm unbelievable inside the pitch."
"This is why the people have so much interest on me. So it's as simple as that. I'm good, I'm happy, I'm motivated all the time. I'm very professional and I want to carry on like that."

Van Gaal vexed by misfiring Man United

Manchester
United manager Louis van Gaal admitted to concerns about his team's
goal-scoring problems after they were bundled out of the League Cup on
penalties by second-tier Middlesbrough.
The
Premier League giants contrived to fail with three of their four
attempts in Wednesday's 3-1 shoot-out loss, with England internationals
Wayne Rooney, Michael Carrick and Ashley Young all unsuccessful.
He said "In football, all that matters is a goal and we have failed to get one in two straight games and that is disappointing". I wonder what his next move would be....
