Rick Ross Discusses Drake Diss ‘Color Money; His Relationship With Lil Wayne & Birdman

Rick Ross
Rick Ross’s new single ‘Color Money’ has been the talk of the rap world for the last two days.
That’s because the Bawse seems to take after Drake — and either Lil Wayne or Birdman — in its bars. Ross addressed whether he was coming for Drizzy this morning on The Breakfast Club.
“That record is what it is, ya dig?,” Ross said. “It’s a lot of different people that’s going to interpret it a lot of different ways, and it is what it is … Let’s see how it unfold. We know how I came and how I do. I don’t play no games.”
On the ‘Color Money’ line, “I got more money than that pussy that you’re signed to,” Ross offered a clearer picture:
“Weezy’s my homie, J Prince is my homie,” Ross said. “I don’t have [a relationship] with Birdman. If you read the Source magazine you would see that, ya know right now, and really me just seeing what Wayne going through as an artist. Him being a boss. Me idolizing Birdman at a time. Me looking up to Lil Wayne. Wayne being the first artist to make so many feats—not just as an artist but an artist coming from the South. That’s something that I took personal. So for me to see the way things are transpiring I can’t respect that. And I don’t respect that.”
It sounds like Ross may well be recruiting Drake and Wayne on ‘Color Money’. Check out the interview in the link below.

Rick Ross Addresses Meek-Drake Beef On ‘Color Money’

Drake Meek rossRick Ross was put in a bad position when Meek Mill went after Drake this summer.
On the one hand, Meek is a MMG solider. But on the other, Ross has a pretty good relationship with Drake — who’s also the bigger star.
In Ross’s new track ‘Color Money’ he clearly makes reference to the Meek-Drake beef.
Color money got your bitch out on a world tour
My lil homie made a million on his girl’s tour
We back to back and down to whack a nigga unborn
Miami niggas got them changing all the gun laws
So run Forest got some shooters and they dying too
I got more money than that pussy that you’re signed to
But is he dissing Drizzy in his bars?
‘Back To Back’ was Drake’s Meek diss, ‘Run Forrest’ is a line from the Drake hit ‘0 to 100′, and the last line quoted sounds like it could be a reference to Birdman or Lil Wayne.

50 Cent & Rick Ross Both Releasing New Mixtapes On Thanksgiving

50 Cent 2015
50 Cent and Rick Ross may not be the best of chums but their release dates are syncing up. Both rappers announced that they would be dropping mixtapes on Thanksgiving, Nov. 26.
Aside from his beef with Derek Jeter over allegations regarding his Frigo underwear line, 50 Cent will be busy pumping out new tracks for The Kanan Tape, the follow-up to his 2014 LP, Animal Ambition.
Fif has never been one for timetables when it comes to his musical output, as he told Billboard last March at SXSW: "It's great. I choose everything: what to release [and] when to release it. The fun part is that there doesn't have to be a schedule. There's no timeline. If I write a record and I want to put it out, I'll put it out."

Meanwhile, Rick Ross has done the same. Rozay has been flooding SoundClouds with remixes for mainstream hits like Adele's "Hello" to Drake and Future's "Jumpman."
Now, the MMG chief will bundle all his remixes for the #RenzelRemixes 'tape, also due next week. The project will roll out a week before Rawse's eighth studio effort, Black Market, dropping Dec. 4
Rozay recently explained how he picks which tracks to remix. "It's just whatever I like, or what I'm a fan of," he told Billboard. "I might ask on Twitter every blue moon, I might ask my fans what they want me to retouch. I asked them that a day or two ago and they told me [Future and Drake's] "Jumpman" and I gave it to them a few hours later."

Frank Ocean Responds to Donald Trump’s Paris Comments

Frank Ocean
Frank Ocean made a rare Tumblr appearance today to criticize Donald Trump for what he thought was his tweet regarding the latest situation in Paris, where a series of terrorist attacks yesterday resulted in over 120 people dead.
In the well circulated Trump tweet, the Donald said that he found it “interesting” a tragic incident would happen in a city with such strict on gun laws. The statement lead to a lot of responses, and Frank Ocean decided to come out of hiding to share a message to Trump.
“ON THE REAL THOUGH DONALD TRUMP. HOW IS IT ‘INTERESTING’ THAT THESE SHOOTINGS HAPPENED IN A COUNTRY THAT’S TOUGH ON GUNS? TELL US DON? BECAUSE IT SOUNDS LIKE THAT VACUOUS OBSERVATION WAS ABOUT GIVING YOUR NRA-LOVING CONSTITUENCY A HANDJOB AND SPINNING A TRAGEDY FOR POLITICAL GAIN AND I’M THINKING MAYBE USING A SITUATION WHERE DOZENS OF INNOCENTS HAVE JUST BEEN MURDERED IN THE STREETS ISN’T THE BEST TIME. NO?”
“LOVE TO PARIS AND ANY INDIVIDUAL OR FAMILY WHO’S LOST LOVED ONES TO EVIL ANYWHERE IN THIS WORLD. CHILL W/ THE ANGLES.”
Now there’s a bit of catch to all of this: The Trump Tweet was actually from the Charlie Hebdo attack — which also took place in Paris — in January. Ocean (and a lot of other people) apparently didn’t read the time-stamp.

Nevertheless, Trump has made similar statements about Paris and gun laws in the wake of the latest attacks. So both Trump and Ocean’s overall points still stand. Which do you agree with?

Guns Were Drawn During Legenday Jay Z DMX Rap Battle

DMX Jay ZWe just got an indication of the depth of the mid-90s Jay Z-DMX rivalry from Irv Gotti, who revealed that Hov didn’t want X on Roc-a-Fella.
During that time period, the two best selling emcees squared off in a legendary pool hall rap battle in The Bronx, NY.
Sauce Money was there when it went down, and he reports to Doggie Diamond TV that things got pretty hairy.
“Niggas pulled out guns while they was rhyming,” said Sauce Money. “Niggas was pulling out hammers because how we did it was, we had to get on top of the pool table on one end and the other end. So we on top of the pool table battling with each other rhyming and pulling out hammers.”
As for who won … Sauce, who was known for his collaborations with Hov, believes Jay came out top.

Pusha T Takes Shots At Birdman And Lil Wayne In ‘Untouchable’

Lil Wayne Pusha TJust because he’s G.O.O.D Music’s president now, doesn’t mean Pusha T won’t be coming out with new music.
In fact, he’s about to drop the Timbaland produced track ‘Untouchable.’
Today, Pusha T took the unusual step of releasing the track’s lyrics before the actual track. We’re thinking it’s because of these bars:
I’m aiming for the moguls, why y’all niggas aiming at the locals?
And rap niggas broke like them, they’re mere hopeful
Still wishing on a star
The last one to find out that Baby owns the cars
If you remember, T was quick to jump in when Lil Wayne  first announced his dissatification with his “daddy” Birdman and Cash Money

pusha T wayne

This Tweet was particularly notable given that Wayne and Pusha have a rocky history.
Now Pusha’s revisiting the Wayne-Baby breakup in his first song as label boss. While he’s certainly mocking Wayne’s naivety in his bars, we’re also thinking he’d still love to have him on the G.O.O.D. Music roster …

50 Cent and Rick Ross continue to throw shots at each other on IG

Rick Ross 50 Cent
Hip-hop’s most comedic beef is a never-ending cycle of Instagram trade-offs. We’ve seen it all year, back and forth. Today, 50 Cent posted a photo of a Rick Ross body shirt that’s available in the MMG store and said he’s selling them for $2.95.
Rick Ross, who is in album promo mode, wasn’t going to let that slide. So he fired back by mocking 50’s bankruptcy and how he needs to sell his merch to make money now. Well, it’s clear who won this exchange.

Meek goes at Wale again...

http://news.hiphopearly.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/11/Mill-Wale1.png

It looks like Rick Ross hasn't squashed the issues between Meek Mill and Wale.
As you recall, last month Wale commented on Meek’s beef with Drake which prompted the Philly rapper to take offence. Meek went on another Instagram attack today following a show in Wale’s hometown of DC.
